Job summary
A precision engineering firm based in Rotherham is seeking a skilled CNC Miller. The role includes setting, operating, and programming CNC Milling machines as well as reading engineering drawings. Ideal candidates will have experience with Solidcam and Fanuc, along with a preference for aerospace or medical experience. This is a full-time position with regular overtime available.

Responsibilities
- Set, operate and program CNC Milling machines.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and minor repairs.
- Report any faults found to the Production Manager.

Job Role: CNC Miller
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £16.80 per hour
Metalis are currently working with a precision engineering business in Rotherham who are looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join their team.
- Set, operate and program CNC Milling machines
- Offline program using Solidcam
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Work to tight tolerances
- Use inspection and measuring equipment to inspect own work
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment and perform minor repairs as needed
- Report any faults found to the Production Manager
- Able to set, operate and program CNC Milling machines using Fanuc
- Experience with Haas, Doosan and Matsuura (preferred)
- Solidcam experience
- Aerospace/Medical experience (preferred)
£16.80 per hour
Monday to Thursday, 6am - 3pm & Friday, 6am - 12pm
Regular overtime available - 1.33x on weekdays & 1.5x on Saturdays
