Real-Time Cloud Engineer – AWS & Kubernetes (Remote UK)
Job summary
A leading property security business in the UK is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and operate a scalable real-time media platform. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in AWS and Kubernetes, optimizing systems for media services like video and alarms. This role is fully remote but requires candidates to be based in the UK. The compensation is £75,000 plus bonus, reflecting the importance of this technical and innovative position.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Experience in real-time media technologies (WebRTC, RTSP, SIP).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and run Amazon EKS for latency-sensitive workloads.
- Architect AWS networking for real-time traffic.
- Own infrastructure as code and CI / CD pipelines.
- Build and operate WebRTC-based systems.
- Optimise media quality and resilience.
- Develop signaling and control services.
