Temporary fully remote Legal Editors - 6 week PROJECT!

Our Global Legal Publishing client is seeking multiple resources to support a review of LLM-generated output of UK legal content. Candidates must have 1-5 years of litigation experience. LLM degree plus other legal experience will be considered; without this, applications will not be considered.

This exciting project involves testing the efficiency of AI for legal practitioners, focusing on AI's role in generating legal content!

• Start date: 12th May
• End date/extension: 6 weeks / potential for extension
• Location: Remote UK
• Hours per week: 35, flexible on hours but must be Monday-Friday
• Pay Rate: £175 PAYE plus holiday pay / £220.00 UMBRELLA

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This project involves evaluating outputs from a Large Language Model (LLM) used for creating AI-generated legal drafts, including memos, briefs, summaries, opinions, statutes, and research answers.

Using Excel and other tools, tasks include creating inputs/prompts for the LLM and analyzing outputs for model training.

Editors will assess outputs against specific legal content requirements, verifying accuracy of summaries, answers, drafts, and statutory or case citations.

Feedback will include rating assessments and additional comments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Law degree required.
• Qualified solicitor.
• 1 to 5 years' litigation experience.
• Strong legal research and analysis skills, familiar with legal content and documents.
• Experience in providing detailed feedback and analysis on legal products.
• Ability to handle high-volume work adhering to quotas.
• Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.
• Experience with multiple software tools.
