The Prime Video European Finance team is seeking a Finance Manager to support strategy and performance in Europe. The role involves partnering with marketing teams to optimize campaign spend and drive growth across Europe. The ideal candidate is a commercially savvy, highly analytical finance professional comfortable with large data volumes and strategic thinking.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with European marketing teams to provide analytical insights and influence strategic and campaign decisions.
• Mapping drivers of marketing performance from brand level to customer engagement.
• Identifying and sourcing KPIs to measure performance using internal and external data.
• Monitoring campaigns, measuring impact on business metrics, and calculating financial efficiency.
• Evaluating new initiatives and campaigns.
• Supporting budgeting and target-setting processes.
• Tracking actual spend versus plan and analyzing variances.
• Preparing reports for leadership review meetings.

A day in the life:

This role ensures our financials accurately reflect in-month spend, analyzes spend variances, and incorporates plan changes into forecasts. It serves as a key contact for marketing and finance teams, handling spend updates, performance reporting, and spend pattern analysis. The project work is diverse and engaging.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, business, or related quantitative field.
• Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles.
• Experience applying KPIs to analysis.
• Experience building financial and operational reports to inform decisions.
• Experience in continuous improvement projects with measurable results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or CPA qualification.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
• Proven ability to solve complex business challenges with financial models and analysis.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation.
