As a Transportation Area Manager, you will lead a team within a UK cluster, overseeing safety, engagement, and performance to optimize load planning and efficiency. Minimum Qualifications
- Transport Managers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) National and International
- Experience managing large-scale transport operations
- People management and data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement
- Ability to work under pressure, handle ambiguity, and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Degree qualification
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Operations Research, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
- Experience with contingent workforce during peak seasons
- Experience of being named on an Operator’s Licence within the transport industry
