A fast-paced Silicon Valley startup is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of their Kubernetes-based platform and deployment processes. The role involves designing scalable infrastructures while leading the implementation of reliable CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, particularly with hands-on Kubernetes management. This role offers significant responsibility in shaping core systems, ensuring both reliability and security in a dynamic environment.

- Take high ownership, shaping how Cosine.sh builds and ships products alongside founding engineers and leadership.
- Work at a fast-paced, venture-backed Silicon Valley startup, contributing to a rapidly evolving platform.
- Design and run the “paved road” for engineers, researchers, and customers, impacting core infrastructure from Kubernetes to deployment.
- Own the design, operation, and evolution of our Kubernetes-based platform, including cluster topology and autoscaling.
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, implementing safe rollout strategies and fast rollback paths.
- Define and track SLOs, improve observability, and lead incident response to ensure system reliability.
- 5+ years building and operating production infrastructure on a major cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Significant hands‑on experience running Kubernetes in production, including cluster upgrades and multi‑environment setups.
- Deep experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Pulumi, Terraform, or CDK.
