Job summary
A major housing organization is looking for a skilled professional responsible for managing repair inspections, planning, and execution of maintenance work. Applicants should hold a Diploma in Surveying and have relevant professional membership. This fixed-term contract role is located in North London, offering a competitive salary of £36,468 - £50,145 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Maintain responsibility for pre/post-inspection and reports.
- Plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work.
- Undertake building and technical surveys.
- Carry out major void inspections and ensure KPIs are met.
Education
Location: North London
Salary: £36,468 - £50,145 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Type: Secondment/Fixed term contract until September 2026.
- Maintain responsibility for pre/post-inspection and reports for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs, consulting and engaging with customers and leaseholders, and with internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work to deliver according to cost, time, and quality standards.
- Undertake building and technical surveys to determine the building condition and identify defects and associated risks.
- Carry out major void inspections and ensure that work is completed in line with KPIs and make recommendations based on survey findings.
- Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3
- Member of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS or CIOB
