A manufacturing firm in Highbridge is seeking a Production Operative / Machine Operator to join their team. The role involves operating machines, lifting materials, and ensuring quality checks. Responsibilities
- Work in a small team environment.
- Lift and move pallets and bags.
- Operate and monitor machines.
- Collect samples for quality checks.
- Complete necessary paperwork.
- Maintain hygiene on the site.
Skills
Job Title: Production Operative / Machine Operator
Location: Highbridge, Somerset
Pay Rate: £13.50 Per Hour
Hours: 39 hours per week with every other Friday
Shits Patterns:
- Week 1: Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00
- Week 2: Monday - Thursday 14:00 - 00:00
- Working in a small team
- Lifting and moving pallets and bags around
- Machine operating and minding
- Collect samples as required to perform quality checks
- Complete necessary paperwork
- Carry out cleaning duties as required to maintain good hygiene practices on site
- Must hold a valid forklift licence
- Excellent communication skills
- IT literate
- Have a genuine interest in a long-term career in the manufacturing industry
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as warehouse operative, machinist, production work, factory work etc
- Comfortable with heavy lifting - up to 20kg
No weekends or Bank Holidays
Free parking on site - you must have your own transport (car, motorbike etc) to reach the location
