Job description

Our client is a well-established and successful water treatment/water hygiene company, who due to recent contract wins are currently looking for a well organised stock and deliveries co-ordinator to join their workforce based in and around the Cardiff area. The successful candidate will have responsibility of controlling the stock needed on sites and arranging the delivery of different products to a wide range of sites. Applications from Bristol, Newport, Pontypool, Neath, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Ideally have previous experience in warehousing and control of stock.
  • COSHH awareness.
  • FLT Licence.
  • Good knowledge of IT.
  • Ideally have NBOSH/ISOH qualification.
  • Previous experience working for an established water treatment company would be beneficial.
Role
  • Undertaking monthly stock checks of all materials and repot back to accounts to ensure monthly management accounts are balanced.
  • Identify stock requirements.
  • Maintain the stock of products to the min/max system.
  • Carrying out the delivery of all products and chemicals to customers.
  • Keep COSHH sheets up to date with manufacturers data.
  • Production of product and container labels.
  • Carry out Weekly fire alarm test and drill.
  • Allocated Fire warden.
  • Undertake weekly forklift truck inspections.
  • Carryout weekly flushing of safety shower.
  • Check and replenish first aid boxes and eye wash stations.
  • Keeping up with Monthly meter readings of water, electricity and gas.
  • Carrying out the monitoring and recording the volume of waste produced – (e.g. Paper, cardboard, plastic and general waste)
