Job summary
A leading company in the offshore industry is seeking a Multi-Disciplined Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and maintenance of equipment in offshore environments. The ideal candidate will have mechanical or hydraulic experience and a focus on client satisfaction, ensuring safety and operational compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience in a mechanical or hydraulic role is essential.
- Preferred: Qualification in mechanical engineering or similar.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, operate, service, and maintain equipment offshore.
- Follow safety policies and ensure compliance during operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.

Multi-Disciplined Service Technician duties to include assembly, test, operate, service and maintain JFO and third-party equipment offshore.
- When working on company equipment, report to and take direction from offshore supervisors.
- Participate actively in pre- and post-job briefings and ensure knowledge transfer.
- Familiarize with JFO and third-party equipment, following procedures during assembly, testing, operations, servicing, and maintenance.
- Ensure all work complies with JFO’s policies and guidelines.
- Maintain safety for oneself and others by working safely, tidily, and efficiently.
- Perform general duties as directed and represent the company professionally.
- Keep the working area clean and safe.
- Comply with HSE policies and procedures, and identify areas for improvement.
- Use appropriate PPE as per company policies.
- Other relevant tasks may be assigned.
Essential
- Experience in a mechanical or hydraulic role.
Preferred
- Qualification in mechanical engineering or similar.
- Previous offshore experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical tools and diesel engines.
- Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic control systems.
- Focus on client satisfaction.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred additional experience includes:
- Diesel, hydraulic, UHP, or HP water pumping.
- Hydraulic circuit knowledge.
- Plant machinery experience.
- Knowledge of subsea equipment.
