The ideal candidate should have a background in manufacturing procurement, particularly in electronics or telecoms, and strong skills in managing global supply chains. We\'re supporting a high-tech manufacturer in the communications sector in their search for a Senior Buyer. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for an experienced supply chain professional from a manufacturing environment.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiate commercial terms, and support new product launches from concept to volume. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role working closely with engineering, quality, and production teams.
- Background in manufacturing procurement - ideally electronics or telecoms
- Strong experience with global supply chains and contract manufacturers
- Confident managing supplier performance, cost, and delivery
- Level 4 CIPS or working towards
- Willingness to travel internationally (UK driving licence required)
- Eligible for UK security clearance
