We are looking for an experienced Wedding & Events Manager to join our exciting team at Seckford Hall. You will be responsible for planning and running exceptional events in our 4* luxury hotel and event venue.
Your role will include:
- Supporting in conducting tours, ensuring the venue is set and presented to its highest standard.
- Liaising with the Sales & Planning team when new event bookings are made, ensuring a smooth handover and briefing the event team accordingly.
- Planning and ensuring the smooth running of each wedding or event.
- Keeping full and accurate records for each wedding or event and providing information to all relevant parties (wedding couples, suppliers, chefs / caterers) in a timely manner.
- Upselling additional items and services to clients.
- Liaising and facilitating with external suppliers.
- Responsibility for the service team at each event.
- Training and development of Wedding & Event Assistants.
- Ensuring each event is set up as per the event plan.
- Liaising with the couple on their wedding day.
- Liaising with Head Chef.
Key Responsibilities:
- To sell the venue to its maximum potential.
- To supervise the quality of services offered to clients, in both production and service.
- To manage and motivate members of the Wedding & Events team.
- Completion of relevant paperwork after each event.
- To ensure brand standards are applied.
- To ensure health and safety rules are applied and respected.
- To manage the team during events.
- To ensure the highest level of customer service is carried out at all times.
