• Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver consistently high-quality, engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Assessment and Feedback: Mark work regularly, providing high-quality, actionable feedback that accelerates student progress.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the review, development, and improvement of the department's schemes of work and resources.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and report on the academic progress and attainment of all assigned students.
• Pastoral Care: Act as a tutor, supporting the social, emotional, and academic well‑being of a group of students.
• Attendance: Maintain accurate records of student attendance and punctuality in lessons.
• Policy Adherence: Implement and uphold the school's behaviour, safeguarding, and health & safety policies at all times.
• Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance and behaviour.
• CPD Participation: Actively engage in departmental and whole‑school professional development sessions.
