A public educational administration in Northern Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to ensure that cleaning staff adhere to established standards. Responsibilities include training staff, handling operational issues, and maintaining records. Candidates must demonstrate two years of relevant experience, knowledge of health and safety regulations, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Job Purpose: To provide a cleaning service within a building or building complex to agreed standards.

In accordance with Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act (1998), the post‑holder is expected to promote good relations, equality of opportunity and pay due regard for equality legislation at all times.
Posts involving work in educational institutions are subject to the provisions of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups (NI) Order 2007. The successful applicant will require an enhanced disclosure check which at present costs £33. Further details regarding the payment of this check will be issued with the contract of employment.

To meet the statutory obligations under Health and Safety legislation the successful applicant may be required to undertake training as necessary & provided by the EA cleaning service.
