Own, maintain and develop the IFS studio in the Staines office, recording, editing and distributing video content on the company’s behalf.

The Camera & Studio Manager (CSM) own the IFS studio in the Staines office by overseeing, planning and executing activities to build the IFS brand in the video format, combining hands-on filming and editing with studio management responsibilities.

The CSM is accountable for the IFS studio and content produced there. This includes, but is not limited to:

Studio ownership:

• Manage and maintain the studio space and equipment in the Staines office.
• Organize and maintain the studio booking system, ensuring efficient scheduling and use.
• Acting as a sounding board for how sessions in the studio are set up and structures, in collaboration with the project owner.
• Keep hardware and software up to date and manage ongoing maintenance.
• Operate and light green screen setups for chroma key production.
• Manage background replacement and post-production workflows specific to green screen filming.
• Presence at the office at least four days a week to accommodate ad hoc filming.

Filming and editing:

• Shoot high-quality video content in a variety of formats for internal and external use.
• Editing videos content from raw format to the finished results ready to be published in IFS’s official channels with a strong sense of storytelling, branding, and audience engagement.
• Filming other types of IFS video, such as testimonials and events, as needed and editing those videos into a final product.
• Ensure all video outputs meet brand and technical standards.
• As part of the role, the employee may need to travel occasionally

Live Streaming & Video Mixing

• Set up, manage, and operate live stream events from the studio.
• Mix multiple video inputs for dynamic and professional live stream delivery.
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively during live sessions.

Video management:

• Uploading, ordering and maintaining the IFS video archive on the platforms used by the company (including YouTube, Wistia and more).
• Working mutually with the Video Producer to develop the video strategy.
• Co-own the video Asana board.
• Actively boost the company brand; ensure consistency across all creative work to brand guidelines.
• Act as a role model for the brand team in communication style and quality of work
• Appreciate the company goal, how the Creative team as a whole can contribute to those goals and what the organizational priorities are.

The CSM is passionate about video. You are creative and a good visual communicator. You have an open mind and a curious mind-set, proactively ask questions and come up with solutions. You are a strong collaborator who can drive the agenda forward but also work as an independent resource. As a person you proactively seek solutions to fulfil your projects and assignments. You are structured with a good ability to prioritize your work. You are used to communicating ideas to non-designers, including politely leading them in the right design direction and educating them on the constraints of the design. You have the ability to inspire and can sell your ideas to the team and stakeholders with passion and persuasion and actively listen to feedback. You are professional and always boost and help the team and your colleagues. You are eager to deliver high quality output and will have an accurate appreciation of how long tasks take.

Skills:

• Knowledge of B2B video
• Project management knowledge
• Extensive Adobe Creative Suite expertise (Premier Pro & After Effects)
• Strong knowledge and hands-on history with green screen production techniques
• Proven AI knowledge in video production
• History of working within a branded framework
• Portfolio of work displaying an ability to turn ideas into a visual piece
• History with project management tools, such as Asana
• Familiarity with live stream platforms (Black Magic, YouTube Live, Teams Live Events, Zoom, etc.)

Preferred:

• Proven history with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PPT
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• History working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to produce high caliber video
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent planning and organizational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and a sense of urgency in accomplishing goals
