Job DescriptionRole Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and highly collaborative Senior Editor to play a dual role in this exciting 18 month FTC opportunity: championing great journalism and building the skills of our newsroom teams across EMEA and APAC.
This editor will serve as a coach and mentor, helping reporters and editors sharpen pitches, refine story framing, and develop their voice. You’ll be a key thought partner on everything from daily assignments to longer-form projects, offering constructive editorial guidance and encouraging more ambitious, original storytelling.
At the same time, you’ll lead newsroom learning in a hands-on, practical way. That means running tailored sessions on everything from headline writing to narrative structure, offering feedback in real time, and creating space for continuous growth. Whether through one-on-one coaching or group workshops, you’ll help our journalists stretch their craft and adapt to a fast-evolving media environment.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of editorial leadership and talent development, someone who believes that strong journalism and strong coaching go hand in hand.
