Job description

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Content Specialist to join our marketing team in BYD UK. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the creation and management of audiovisual and digital content, with a focus on graphic design, video editing, and content creation. He/she will work closely with the Digital Specialist, Social Media Specialist, various departments within the subsidiary, and the dealer network.

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy: Coordinate the creation of assets in line with the creative content strategy for various channels (digital, print, OOH, etc.), in alignment with the Social Media Specialist.
  • Content Creation: graphic and video content create and design, and manage engaging and high-quality content (with a strong emphasis on graphic design and video editing) for internal and external use, including commercial campaigns and dealer needs.
  • Production Supervision: Coordinate with external suppliers and agencies for the production of audiovisual content, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. This scope may evolve with the internalization of creative teams.
  • Operational Follow-up: Ensure the operational follow-up of content projects from conception to distribution, guaranteeing consistency, quality of messages, and timeliness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (digital, social media, various services) and the dealer network to ensure consistent and impactful communication.
  • Analysis and Optimisation: In collaboration with the Digital Specialist and Social Media Specialist, analyse content performance and propose recommendations to optimize engagement and conversion on creative aspects.
  • Dealer Support: Develop and provide communication and marketing materials tailored to the specific needs of dealers, in collaboration with the Dealer Marketing team. The goal is to serve commercial needs while ensuring perfect brand image consistency.
  • Compliance: Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in creating and managing audiovisual and digital content.
  • Must have experience working in or with an event agency.
  • Strong understanding of trends and best practices in digital marketing and content.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of content creation and management tools (Adobe Suite, CMS, etc.).
  • Experience in supervising audiovisual production projects.
  • Ability to analyse and report on content performance.
  • Prior experience in project management is mandatory.
  • A coherent academic background is mandatory.
