A government agency is seeking a Deputy Head of Technology and Data to provide enterprise architecture leadership and ensure technology services meet government standards. The successful candidate will design governance frameworks, manage enterprise architecture models, and ensure compliance with security policies. This pivotal role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and expertise in Azure solutions and data governance. The Deputy Head of Technology and Data will provide enterprise architecture leadership and design authority across infrastructure, data, and governance domains. This role ensures that technology services are architected to be resilient, secure, and aligned with organisational and government standards.
Acting as a senior design authority, the Deputy maintains enterprise and data architecture models, supports the governance of change and procurement, and embeds architectural principles across programmes and services. The postholder will deputise for the Head of Technology and Data in governance forums (e.g. TAG, CAB) and act as a trusted advisor to project teams, business stakeholders, and suppliers.
This is a pivotal role shaping the technology blueprint of the Insolvency Service, ensuring that infrastructure and data solutions are designed for long-term sustainability, compliance, and business value.
