A leading healthcare organization in Cardiff is seeking a Mental Health Research Nurse to manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the Mental Health research portfolio. Responsibilities include recruitment of participants for clinical trials, managing patient care for trial patients, and ensuring compliance with clinical research legislation. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with experience in clinical research and have excellent communication skills. This position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The closing date is 23 December 2025.
The post holder will also be responsible for the day to day management of the Mental Health research portfolio, managing recruitment of research participants into studies, set-up and closure of studies, data management and reporting metrics in line with key performance indicators for research in Wales. The post holder will have research or extensive clinical experience and possess excellent clinical skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with directorate colleagues in order to deliver a quality research service, enhancing the patient experience and providing reputational excellence for Cardiff and Vale Research Delivery teams.
