A leading company in Financial Services seeks a Python Developer for a 12-month contract in Glasgow, focusing on Data Leakage Prevention. The candidate will develop high-quality applications and automate processes, working within a dynamic Agile team. This hybrid role allows for 3 days in the office, offering an attractive day rate of £400-600.
Qualifications
- Strong Python development experience (Pytest, Requests, FastAPI).
- DevOps expertise required (Git, CI/CD, Test Automation).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is essential.

- Automate processes to enhance DLP controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications.
- Build and maintain Python-based APIs and connectors.
- Automate cloud and on-prem processes to enhance DLP controls.
- Improve development practices (IaC, CI/CD, Test Automation).
- Collaborate with global teams to solve security challenges using tools like Symantec DLP, Netskope, and Proofpoint.
- Strong Python development experience (Pytest, Requests, FastAPI, etc.).
- DevOps expertise (Git, CI/CD, Test Automation).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration.
- Knowledge of cyber security controls and tools.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments.

Duration: 12 months (initially)
Hybrid - 3 days onsite
Rate: £400-600 per day
