Owen Reed is looking for a highly organised Corporate Legal Secretary to deliver exceptional, proactive support to senior partners and fee earners at a leading London law firm.

Job Profile
Title: Corporate Secretary
Reports To: Head of Corporate
Purpose: To provide secretarial support to the Corporate Team
Terms: Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm (may consider flexibility and hybrid working arrangement; we require flexibility to start early and stay late when required)
Key Responsibilities
- Documents & Correspondence: Type documents and correspondence for Partners/Associates, ensuring correspondence is prepared, signed and sent out in a timely manner.
- Diary Management: Manage diaries in a pro-active manner ensuring the Partner/Associates are prepared for forthcoming appointments.
- Administration: Maintain contacts, distribution lists, scanning and filing.
- Matter Management: Ensure files are opened and closed correctly as well as archived on a regular basis.
- Billing: Liaise proactively with Partner/Associates to ensure that the firm’s billing process is adhered to. Prepare invoices using the firm’s billing software and liaise with Partners/Associates to ensure timely delivery of invoices to clients.
- Business Development Support: Assist with Team BD activities, including client events and tenders.
- Other Duties: Other ad-hoc duties, research and projects as requested by the Partners/Associates.

- Administration skills – planning, organising, eye for detail, maintaining accurate records/information.
- People Skills – approachable, professional, engaging and calm.
- IT Skills – Excellent Outlook (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and our internal systems (training will be provided).
- Relationships – Developing strong and professional relationships with clients, the team and colleagues across the firm.
- Experience of working within the legal sector or within a professional services environment.
