We're recruiting an experienced SEN/SEMH Teacher for a full-time position starting September. You'll be supporting a Year 9 group working below expected levels, using a primary model that places emotional literacy and academic recovery at the centre.
The Role at a Glance:
Teach English, Maths, Humanities and PSHE to KS3 pupils working at lower KS2/KS3 levels
Use trauma-informed approaches and consistent routines to build engagement
Plan and differentiate lessons to support individual EHCPs
Manage classroom behaviour positively and proactively
Contribute to long-term success of learners in a nurturing, structured setting
Who You Are:
A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience in SEN/SEMH settings
Skilled in de-escalation, behaviour support and relationship-based teaching
Calm, consistent and emotionally attuned
DBS on the update service (or ready to apply)
