A global plastics manufacturer is seeking an Accounts Assistant in Ross-on-Wye, offering a salary between £23,875 and £28,750, with excellent benefits including hybrid working options and healthcare. Reporting to the Credit Management & Accounting Manager, Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Purchase to pay corresponding activities
- Order to cash corresponding activities
- External reporting to Companies House and HMRC
- Financial accounting general enquiries
- Audit assistance: year-end, interim and statutory audit, HMRC government audits and other audit requirements
- Year-end reporting and other ad hoc reporting requirements
- Departmental tasks and general administration
- Credit Management & Accounting Manager cover
- Travel Coordinator
The successful Credit & Cash Management Assistant will demonstrate
- Experience in credit control or purchase ledger would be advantageous
- Previous working knowledge of SAP
- Self-driven, friendly and a positive disposition, with a clear focus on high quality and delivering results
- Accuracy, attention to detail, excellent organisation skills
- Actively participates in team work to ensure organisational goals are met
- Ability to prioritise own workload & multitask
- Computer literate in all MS Office applications
- £23,875 - £28,750 pro rata depending on experience
- 32 days holidays including bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 2 years’ service
- 50% hybrid over 2 week period after probation
- 30 hours, 4 days per week
