JOB TITLE: Chief Commercial Officer

THE ROLE
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead our Commercial Department and be part of the club’s senior leadership team. The CCO will take ownership of all revenue-generating areas (with the exception of player trading) ensuring the club is commercially strong, achieving sustainable and profitable growth, and positioned for continued success on and off the pitch.
From sponsorships and partnerships to ticketing, hospitality, retail, membership, events, and commercial operations, this role will be at the heart of our club’s financial future. Working closely with and alongside the Chief Communications & Marketing Officer, the CCO will also play a vital role in brand growth and supporting the media strategy across owned and operated channels and platforms and earned media.
The CCO is responsible for leading and delivering a high-performing commercial strategy that maximises profitable revenue, strengthens relationships with partners, and enhances the club’s global commercial footprint.
The CCO will drive improvements through the deployment of world-class strategic commercial frameworks and operating models, fan and business data, and effective use of digital technology and services.
This role demands a leader who takes pride in delivering excellence, who is willing to take responsibility for commercial performance, and who puts the club first in every negotiation, deal, business decision and delivers flawless execution in every area.
The CCO will drive innovation across sponsorship, ticketing, retail, hospitality, MyGers Membership, New Edmiston House, catering contracts, and other revenue-generating operations, ensuring that Rangers continues to thrive financially while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ambition.
