The Sous Chef role at their 62-bedded Cranmer Court home in Warlingham, Surrey offers a unique opportunity to work in a well-rated care home, with a shift pattern that includes no evenings and alternate weekends off. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to create fresh, nutritious meals for the residents using the best ingredients, and will have the chance to mentor the kitchen team as part of the Chef Academy program.

As a Sous Chef at Aria Healthcare's Cranmer Court home, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the preparation and delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals for the residents. You will need to demonstrate a passion for food, a creative flair, and the ability to lead by example. The role offers a fully supported induction to the technical skills required in a healthcare setting, as well as the opportunity to mentor and develop the kitchen team through the Chef Academy program. The shift pattern includes 40 hours per week, with no evening work and alternate weekends off.

We are looking for a highly skilled Sous chef to create fresh nutritious meals for our residents by way of using the best fresh ingredients available. We are looking for a passionate Chef that will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.

• The ideal candidate for this Sous Chef role will have experience working in a similar position, with a strong understanding of producing fresh, nutritious meals. You should be able to demonstrate excellent culinary skills, as well as the ability to lead and mentor a team. A relevant catering qualification would be desirable, but not essential.
