A leading waste management company in London is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician responsible for maintaining electrical and instrumentation equipment across North London. The role involves minimizing downtime through effective repairs and implementing preventative maintenance. Candidates should possess NVQ level 3 or equivalent and have experience in a heavy-duty industrial environment, such as a power station. Competitive salary and benefits offered.
About LondonEnergy
At LondonEnergy, we’re proud of our vital role in managing North London’s waste and protecting the environment. As part of the team, you’ll already know that we handle and process 750,000 tonnes of waste each year, making us the second largest waste contract in the UK. Together, we generate enough energy from waste to power around 80,000 homes annually and recycle 70% of items through our Reuse and Recycling Centres. This is only possible thanks to the dedication of our people, who make a real difference every day.
About the role
We are recruiting two positions currently. As the E&I Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance of the electrical and instrumentation equipment at our various sites across North London, for minimal downtime and to minimise machine breakdowns by ensuring an affect PPM process is in place on all associated electrical and instrumentation machinery and equipment.
Early application is encouraged as we will review applications throughout the advertising period and reserve the right to close the advert early.
