Head of Insights & Reporting/Business Intelligence

Location: Central London (hybrid - ideally 3-4 days a week in-office).

Tech stack: PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, SQL, Python. NOT a low code/no code environment.

Business: Pre-IPO Insurtech, 200% growth in 2024. UK & European offices.

Join a tech start-up entering scale mode after an impressive year of 200% growth, progressing from 4M revenue in 2023 to 14M in 2024, with projected growth of up to 30/40M over the next 18 months.

This role is the first time they are hiring a Head of Insights & Reporting to lead the BI function across the business, managing an existing team of 3 business analysts.

You will work directly with the C-suite and key functions, utilizing data insights to drive decision-making.

You will report to the COO (who is data-driven) and work closely with the CEO.

• 8+ years experience in BI, Analytics, or Insights, with ideally 4 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in SQL, with experience in Python preferred.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
• Comfortable working in a non low-code/no-code environment.
• Statistical analysis skills.
• Strong storytelling ability and experience working directly with senior executives and stakeholders to influence data-driven decisions.
