About the role

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join the Data Lynx delivery team. Working with business and technical stakeholders to define and refine product backlog items for complex data systems, you will play an important role in eliciting business and technical requirements, documenting business processes and analysing data sources. Acting as a bridge between business users and technical delivery teams, you will be working with both business and IT partners to ensure the successful implementation of data products. Working in a SAFe Agile environment, you will contribute to Program Increment planning within the overarching Agile Release Train process, to ensure alignment between business and IT teams and deliver against the Data Lynx Team's project roadmaps.

What you’ll need to have
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree OR certification in Information Systems, Data Analytics or Business Analysis (CBAP/BCS Diploma)
  • Experience:
    • Experience in a business analysis and requirements gathering role.
    • Experience of data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
    • Experience of working within an Agile framework, refining product backlogs.
It would be great if you also have
  • Experience
    • Healthcare or Retail systems
    • Experience of SAFe
    • Business analysis on a technical platform
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite, Lucid, Visio, Murals
    • Proficiency in agile management tools such as ADO, JIRA
    • Knowledge of database management and data warehousing.
    • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies – Microsoft Azure and Databricks
