A healthcare organization in Morpeth is seeking a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join their Acute Inpatient Psychological Services team. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments and interventions, facilitate supervision, and deliver training. Candidates should have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and relevant experience in mental health settings. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist or Senior Psychological Therapist to work within the Acute Inpatient Psychological Services team at St George's Park hospital, Morpeth. The Acute Inpatient Service at St George's Park consists of two male wards and one female ward of 19 beds each. The Psychology team is diverse and includes Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Psychological Therapists, Art Psychotherapists and Assistant Psychologists, with a therapy dog in the service. We are friendly, inclusive and value creative approaches, welcoming new and improved processes and ideas. The service has a strong commitment to CPD and professional development to nurture each clinician in their career long term.
You will be joining the Psychological Services Inpatient team who work across Acute, Rehabilitation and Older Adult inpatient wards. The team is well embedded into the wards and maintains strong working relationships across pathways.
