Retail Security Officer - Tesco Immingham

Job Overview
- To protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any updates.
- Deliver results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements, ensuring service quality and contract retention.
- Undertake ongoing training for self-development.
Main Duties
Operations
- Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law.
- Complete all site tasks as defined in the published Assignment Instructions.
- Review and suggest improvements to the Assignment Instructions to enhance service quality.
- Maintain valid front-line security licenses (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA License, renewing at least 16 weeks before expiry.
- Follow instructions and safety procedures diligently.
- Work systematically and methodically.
Training
- Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
- Engage in additional training for continuous improvement.
- Utilize technology for work objectives and professional growth.
Security and Health & Safety
- Report hazards or safety concerns immediately.
- Stay alert to potential threats and take appropriate action.
- Maintain professional conduct, especially in challenging situations.
- Document incidents accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to schedules and security protocols, including check calls and incident reporting.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous security experience
- SIA License
- SC Clearance (desirable)
