We're seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial ownership of projects from inception through to final account. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing business offering genuine career progression, autonomy, and variety.
- Take full commercial responsibility for assigned projects from start to finish
- Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
- Lead subcontractor procurement, tender analysis, and contract negotiations
- Administer subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations, and final settlements
- Prepare and agree monthly applications for payment and CVRs
- Monitor financial performance and proactively manage risk and cost control
- Support and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors
- Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and project teams
- Ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting
- Oversee contract compliance and change control
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience with a main contractor
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts and construction law
- Proven track record managing projects across multiple sectors
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and commercial software
- Confident presenting commercial reports and leading meetings
- Full UK driving licence
