Qualifications

  • Support the team with valuations, variations, and final accounts.

Graduate Quantity Surveyor

A well-established multi‑disciplinary construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Barnstaple. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early‑career professional looking to develop their skills across a range of sectors including residential, education, and industrial projects.

The successful Graduate Quantity Surveyor will work closely with senior team members and gain hands‑on experience in delivering both pre‑ and post‑contract services. You'll be supported in your development, with clear pathways to chartership and opportunities to work on meaningful, regionally based projects.

While the preference is for office‑based working in Barnstaple, hybrid and flexible working will be considered, provided regular site and office attendance is maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing cost plans, tenders, and contract documents

Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction field
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Keen to progress towards MRICS chartership
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learnFull UK driving licence preferred
