Job summary

InspireU in Lincolnshire is seeking a dedicated Well-Being Coach to support individual young people with special needs, helping them understand and follow the Behaviour Policy while safeguarding their wellbeing. You will collaborate with Learning Support, Safeguarding and Pastoral teams to promote positive engagement, build resilience and re-engage learners back into the classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with special needs.
• Ability to engage and re-engage learners effectively.
• Excellent spoken English and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Form effective, positive working relationships with learners.
• Provide behaviour support and remove barriers to learning.
• Collaborate with safeguarding and pastoral teams.
• Encourage self-reliance and self-esteem.
• Promote student mental and physical wellbeing.
• Develop and carry out interventions for challenging behaviour.
• Support attendance monitoring.
