Job summary

Cheshire College South & West is seeking a Learner Wellbeing and Inclusion Coach to support 16-19 learners across Ellesmere Port and Chester Campus, focusing on attendance, wellbeing and achievement. You will work one-to-one or in groups, deliver sustainable strategies for anxiety, self-regulation and resilience, foster links with external agencies and ensure GDPR-compliant records.

Applicants should have a Level 4 qualification, GCSEs in Maths and English, experience with vulnerable

Qualifications

Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) required.
GCSE Grade C (4/5) in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Experience of working in a supportive environment.
Experience of working with disadvantaged and/or vulnerable young people.
Ability to develop relationships with external agencies.
Excellent safeguarding knowledge.
Excellent digital skills; Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

Identify learners at risk of not achieving learning goals.
Support attendance, engagement, safety and personal circumstances.
Provide sustainable strategies to improve learners' lives and lifelong skills.
Support learners with anxiety, self-harm, exam stress, relationships and emotional regulation.
Provide drop-in wellbeing and safeguarding support.
Establish links with external agencies and maintain records per GDPR.
