Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council's InspireU in Gainsborough is seeking a part-time Job Coach to support learners aged 16-24 with SEND. You will help them access work placements, including the Supported Internship programme, and provide tailored, person-centred guidance both on-site and in community settings.

You will work with colleagues to enable learners to succeed in real workplaces, across sectors like retail, engineering and cleaning, with hybrid working and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Passion for supporting young people with SEND.
• Flexible, adaptable and confident working in a variety of environments.
• Strong communicators with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Organised, with the ability to manage their own workload and diary.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support learners to access and succeed in work experience placements.
• Provide tailored, person-centred support to help each individual achieve their full potential.
• Work on-site and in the community across sectors such as retail, engineering, cleaning and more.
