Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a dedicated Wellbeing Coach to support individual young people with special needs. Based at InspireU Lincoln, the role focuses on helping learners understand and follow the Behaviour Policy while safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.

You will work with Learning Support, Safeguarding and Pastoral teams, building positive relationships, delivering targeted behaviour support, and contributing to attendance monitoring. Closing date 11 October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Form effective, positive, and appropriate working relationships with learners, creating an atmosphere of trust and support.
• Provide behaviour support for targeted groups and individual students, removing barriers to learning and increasing participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with Learning Support, Safeguarding, and Pastoral teams to promote positive engagement and behaviour.
• Encourage and praise learners to develop self-reliance and self-esteem.
• Promote student mental and physical wellbeing.
• Develop and carry out interventions to bring about positive changes in challenging behaviour.
• Support attendance monitoring processes.
