Role Description

The role for a Youth Support Coordinator located in Swindon, to engage with BAME communities, focusing on individuals to raise awareness about young peoples mental health and wellbeing. The Youth Support Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating wellbeing activities for young people. Supporting young peoples panel to encourage mentoring for peers and running mentorship programs. In addition to facilitating workshops and seminars to raise awareness on young peoples mental health.

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to inspire young people
• Passion for working with young people and diverse communities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications in social work, youth work, or a related field would be preferable
• Experience in cultural competency and inclusive practices is a plus
