Job summary

Securitas UK is recruiting a Young Person’s Worker for our substance misuse service in Lancashire. You will deliver 1:1 and group work, information sessions and drop-in services for young people up to age 25.

You will work with other agencies to safeguard clients, collaborate with the local authority, and travel between offices. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working within health, social care, criminal justice or related settings, ideally with young people.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with young people and stakeholders.
• A positive and proactive approach to safeguarding and client welfare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and group work with young people up to age 25.
• Provide information sessions and drop-in support to local youth.
• Safeguard young clients and work with families where appropriate, in partnership with local authority.
