Job summary

With You is seeking a dedicated Young Persons Worker to support a caseload of young people facing substance misuse challenges in Burnley. You will assess needs, develop care plans, deliver a range of treatments and refer to specialists when needed.

You will engage proactively to provide the guidance, education and support required to help clients understand options and make informed decisions. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential; role is full-time and fixed-term to 31 January

Qualifications

• OCN/NVQ level 3 or equivalent or willingness to achieve this within 12 months.
• Experience of managing a caseload of young people with complex needs.
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding and the ability to put safeguarding processes into practice.
• Evidence of multi-agency working.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs and develop care plans with young people.
• Deliver treatments and refer to specialists when needed.
• Engage proactively to provide support, education and guidance to young people.
• Record and maintain accurate case details and documentation in a timely manner.
