An established organization is seeking a dedicated Youth Program Coordinator to lead and manage programs for children aged 6 to 18. In this dynamic role, you will supervise staff and volunteers, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for youth. The working schedule will be determined based on client needs.
The starting salary is $40K-$43K annually, dependent on experience.

Summary/Primary Purpose: Coordinates the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of specific program(s) for youth between the ages of 6 and 18. Provides leadership and supervision to assigned program and volunteer staff; and controls expenses as assigned. Plans activities and facilitates programs for groups of youth in assigned Specific program areas. (STEM, STEAM, Art, Sports/Athletics. Aquatics, Education).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: Volunteer staff and Youth Workers.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree required.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army.

Working Conditions: The work environment is a business office setting with office equipment, light traffic and moderate noise levels.
