Job Description Summary:
As a Localization Program Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of global content experiences for Paypal's strategic initiatives. The Localization Program Management Team is part of the Localization Team in the World Ready organization. We’re on a mission to enable experiences that are relevant to our global customers and compliant with local regulations, supporting Paypal’s presence and expansion in 200+ countries and 40+ languages.

Job Description:
Meet our team

World Ready Localization is responsible for producing and managing localized customer and merchant-facing content for Web and Mobile Product UI, Help, Legal and Compliance, System Notifications and Web Product Marketing.

Your way to impact

Managing all localization aspects of feature launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams and Language Service Providers, and promoting Localization best practices to improve production efficiency and expand international efforts.

Your day-to-day

  • Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, in-country Marketing teams, etc.) to ensure localization requirements are implemented and the localization processes are effective and well understood.
  • Schedule, manage, coordinate, track, and troubleshoot localization projects and tasks for multiple locales/languages for a variety of deliverables.
  • Evangelize localization best practices and ensure both external and internal partners compliance.


What Do You Need To Bring
  • 2+ years experience as a Localization Project/Program Manager
  • Ability to identify requirements, prioritize critical deliverables and clearly articulate status updates to different audiences filtering relevant information
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills as well as fluency in at least one other language
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with translation management systems and Jira
  • Experience as an excellent team player in a multicultural team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills
