Summary

• We are a charitable/nonprofit organisation seeking a passionate and strategic Head of Programmes & Impact to lead the design and delivery of our remote development programmes.
• This includes overseeing initiatives in entrepreneurship, mindset training, and related growth-focused projects. This is a leadership role suitable for a dynamic individual with strong programme management experience and a deep belief in the power of social innovation.
• As Head of Programmes & Impact, you will be responsible for shaping our programme strategy, managing a small team of volunteers, ensuring high-quality remote delivery, and measuring the impact of our work across all initiatives.
• By volunteering with us, you’ll gain valuable experience in a growing global NGO and an opportunity to shape programmes that empower individuals and communities, enhancing your skills in a professional and collaborative environment.

Commitment: This position is unpaid and requires a minimum of 20 hours a week for 6 months. This position is fully remote.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of entrepreneurship and mindset training programmes.
• Ensure all programmes are aligned with the foundation’s mission, values, and long-term goals.
• Innovate and adapt programme content to meet emerging needs and opportunities.
• Delivery & Implementation
• Oversee the planning and execution of all development programmes in a remote setting.
• Support team members and trainers to ensure smooth virtual delivery of workshops, events, and digital offerings.
• Manage timelines, resources, and participant engagement effectively.
• Impact Measurement & Evaluation
• Develop and implement systems to monitor, evaluate, and report on programme outcomes.
• Generate insights and learning to improve future programming and communicate impact to stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of programme coordinators and volunteers.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven virtual team culture.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, mentors, and trainers.
• Represent the programmes team in organisational meetings and strategic discussions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in programme design, delivery, and impact evaluation (ideally within NGOs, education, or social enterprise).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Passionate about youth empowerment, mindset development, and entrepreneurship.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to commit 20 hours per week for 6 months.
• Comfortable leading and working remotely with autonomy and initiative.
