Job summary

CXK Limited is hiring a Youth Employment Worker for the Hastings Youth Hub. You will support a caseload of young people, conduct assessments and action planning, and provide employment coaching to help them move toward work, education or training, in partnership with local services including DWP.

You will maintain records, manage safeguarding, coordinate referrals, and help young people have a voice in service design. Salary £26,262 – £31,391 per annum (dependent on experience).

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting vulnerable young people to achieve positive outcomes.
• Knowledge of post-16 education, training and employment pathways.
• Understanding of safeguarding and risk response.
• Strong communication and ability to manage a varied caseload.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and maintaining records.
• Commitment to learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support a caseload of young people throughout their Youth Hub journey.
• Conduct individual assessments, action planning and employment coaching.
• Coordinate referrals and connect young people with training, work experience and specialist support.
• Maintain regular contact, recognise progress and adapt approach to needs.
• Keep accurate records and manage safeguarding concerns.
• Ensure young people have a voice in how services are designed and delivered.
