Zusammenfassung

Acorn Training Ltd is recruiting an Employment Youth Progression Coach in Burton. You will deliver engaging group learning and tailor-made one-to-one support to help young people progress towards employment, education or training.

You’ll cover topics from communication and teamwork to job search, interview prep and sector tasters, working with local employers and support services. You will also support participants facing childcare or wellbeing challenges, coordinating with Employer Partnership

Qualifikationen

• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification (Essential).
• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent (Essential).
• IT qualification or equivalent experience (Essential).
• Experience in youth employment, employability, welfare-to-work or related programmes.
• Experience supporting young people with childcare or caring responsibilities.

Aufgaben

• Group Learning Delivery: design engaging group sessions to build employability skills.
• One-to-One Support: provide tailored coaching to help participants set goals.
• Youth Employability: build confidence and workplace readiness for participants.
• Job Search & Career Skills: teach CVs, applications and interview preparation.
• Sector Tasters: prepare participants for employer-led tasters and exposure to industries.
• Local Support & Referrals: connect participants with local services and providers.
• Progress Monitoring: track engagement and adapt support as needed.
• Records & Outcomes: maintain accurate records for programme performance.
