Job summary

Acis Group Limited is seeking an Employment & Skills Officer to provide personalised coaching and high‑quality training for young people and adults facing barriers to employment. You will manage a caseload, assess needs, and help participants progress toward education, training or work.

You will also contribute to curriculum development, work with employers and partners, ensure quality assurance and maintain compliant records to report outcomes and success stories.

Qualifications

• Willingness to deliver a range of courses beyond core expertise.
• Ability to run both 1-2-1 and group sessions.
• Experience engaging with adults and children.
• Commitment to helping long-term unemployed achieve outcomes.
• Strong teamwork, resilience and ability to work under pressure.
• Understanding barriers faced by unemployed/inactive people.

Responsibilities

• Support participants through their journey from engagement to sustained employment.
• Identify goals, develop personalised action plans and monitor progress.
• Engage employers and partners to create progression opportunities.
• Deliver employability, confidence and digital skills sessions.
• Maintain accurate records, outcomes reporting and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with DWP Work Coaches and training providers.
