Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd. is seeking a Youth Progression Coach in Burton to help young people build confidence, skills and resilience for employment, education or training. You will deliver group learning and provide tailored one-to-one support to create personalised progression plans.

You will collaborate with employers and local services to connect learners with sector tasters and opportunities, while supporting those facing barriers and childcare responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent (Essential).
• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent (Essential).
• IT qualification or equivalent experience (Essential).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging group sessions to build employability skills.
• Provide tailored one-to-one coaching to develop progression plans.
• Support youth to understand the world of work and readiness.
• Coordinate sector tasters with Employer Partnership Managers.
