Job summary

Acorn Training LTD in Daventry is hiring an Employment Coach to help people move into sustainable work. You will work with diverse client groups, provide information, advice and guidance, and develop tailored job search materials to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a customer caseload to move into sustainable employment.
• Provide one-to-one information, advice and guidance sessions.
• Prepare job search materials and differentiated products for customers.
• Work with local employers to identify opportunities for customers.
• Support and signpost pastoral needs of customers.
• Provide information, advice and guidance on learning programmes and qualifications.
• Coach customers and promote positive behaviours associated with employment.
• Monitor performance and ensure attendance and outcomes meet national benchmarks.
• Keep accurate records tracking progress toward individual goals with SMART targets.
• Work with diverse groups including young adults, adults, learners with barriers and offenders.
• Signpost for literacy and numeracy development and promote independent learning.
• Ensure safeguarding, data security, equality and health and safety policies are followed.
• Maintain a positive and professional company image.
