Job summary

Action for Children is seeking an Employment Facilitator to join our new employability delivery team in Scotland. You will work hands-on with young people aged 16-24, helping them build confidence, design action plans and take practical steps toward employment in a supportive, youth-centred environment.

The role involves one-to-one work, designing tailored employability sessions, and collaborating with partners to secure placements and improve job readiness.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Care is helpful.
• Experience working with young people in group settings is valuable.
• Understanding challenges young people face when trying to access employment is important.
• Ability to build positive relationships and create an inclusive, youth-centred learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Working in line with Action for Children's standards and professional practice expectations.
• Coordinating a caseload of young people with tailored interventions.
• Delivering engaging sessions that support wider employability programmes.
• Keeping compliance requirements up to date and accurate.
