Job summary

Action for Children in Inverclyde is recruiting an Employment Facilitator to support 16–24 year olds facing barriers. You’ll deliver personalised employability programmes, one-to-one support, and career planning, helping young people progress to jobs, training or further study.

You’ll work within a proactive team, coordinating activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring high-quality, outcome-focused support while keeping records up to date and compliant with policy.

Qualifications

• SVQ 3 in Social Care, Guidance or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience in Construction or Customer Service sectors is beneficial.
• Experience working in group settings with young people facing barriers.
• Knowledge of youth unemployment issues is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and co-ordinate a caseload of young people.
• Deliver group and individual employability support and activities.
• Provide high-quality personalised employability guidance.
• Ensure all compliance and records are up to date.
