Job summary

Action for Children, Scotland, is recruiting a Progression and Outcomes Coordinator to join a brand-new employability delivery team. You will build partnerships with employers, create job and placement opportunities, and help young people move into work.

You will grow our employer network, deliver interview skills sessions, coordinate placements, and maintain up-to-date records for funders. A driving license and ability to travel are required; hybrid working is supported.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or employer engagement.
• Good understanding of barriers to employment for young people.
• Driving license and access to a car; ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Aim to hit targets for creating job and work experience opportunities with partners across sectors.
• Develop and grow our employer database through networks, calls, emails, social media, and visits.
• Liaise with employers, represent Action for Children at forums and events to boost life chances.
• Monitor young people's progress on placements and report outcomes.
• Deliver employer expectations and interview skills sessions to groups of young people.
• Support employers offering placements and organise workload with up-to-date records.
